Arrive between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m. in layers. Pickup is from 3:45 to 4:00 p.m.

The lake hour

One hour on the water, by age group

The 5 to 8 group goes first and the 9 to 13 group goes second, so a counselor can stay with each group in the shallows. Life jackets go on before anyone reaches the dock, and campers paddle in pairs with an adult in a second canoe. When the water is too cold or the weather turns, the hour becomes shore craft under the pavilion roof.
